The Daisy Field Network

We help families stop leaving in tears.

Every week, families with sensory and special needs walk into restaurants, churches, and community spaces -- and walk back out overwhelmed. That's a customer you didn't mean to lose. We can help you keep them.

What It Means to Be Daisy Friendly

Being Daisy Friendly isn't just good ethics. It's good business. The Daisy Field Network trains your staff, equips your space, and certifies your business so neurodivergent families know they're welcome before they ever walk through your door.

1 in 6 people have sensory or special needs. That's not a niche -- that's your neighborhood.

Who This Is For

If you run a restaurant, lead a church, manage a library or theater, or operate any community-facing space -- this is for you. You don't have to be an expert in special needs. You just have to be willing to make room.

The Daisy Friendly Difference

Families navigating sensory challenges don't just need accommodations. They need to know your space is safe before they take the risk of showing up. Daisy Friendly certification tells them that before they ever arrive.
When families trust your space, they come back. They tell other families. They become your most loyal customers.

What we Do

Staff Training

Your team learns how to recognize sensory overload, respond with confidence, and create an environment where every family feels safe to stay.

Calming Corners

We design and install permanent, hand-painted Calming Corners in your space -- a designated place for families to pause, breathe, and return to the moment.

Kids Nights

We partner with businesses to host structured, sensory-friendly Kids Nights that bring new families through your doors and keep them coming back.

Emily Bedel

Founder

The Daisy Field Network trains businesses and community spaces to become Daisy Friendly -- so families with sensory and special needs can stay instead of leave.

Founded by Emily Bedel, the Network started with a personal story: a niece who struggled to feel safe and included, and an aunt who decided to do something about it. What began as one family's experience became a mission to change how entire communities welcome people who too often get left out.

Today, the Daisy Field Network works with restaurants, churches, libraries, theaters, and homeschool programs across the region -- providing staff training, hosting Kids Nights, and building permanent Calming Corners that give families a place to pause, breathe, and stay.

Because belonging isn't age-specific. And every family deserves a seat at the table.
